Yes, it is THE Towel. With capital letters. Even if it's technically only a part of the original Towel. ;)

Why, you ask?

This is my dearest souvenir from the absolutely wonderful Nightwish show in Kraków, Poland on February 19th anno domini 2008. It belonged to the ever so awesome Mr Tuomas Holopainen before he most graciously parted with it and threw it to the wolves (a.k.a. the audience) to be torn to pieces. It was caught by my boyfriend and shared with nearby fans after a five-minute struggle to rip the darned thing using our bare hands and house keys (kudos to whoever came up with the idea). This piece was then given to me for safekeeping, to which of course I eagerly agreed.

So there. My pride and joy. Envy me! :evillaugh:
Or don't; whichever is fine with me. ;)

Before you say anything: yes, I am a fan(girl). Yes, I am insane. No, I don't care. :laughing:

How was the concert, BTW? I liked Nightwish a lot, before they made that Once album, and am pondering for a while whether to give the new album a try... what say you? :D

It was a bit of :ninjabattle: before I stepped in and told the boys to play nice and share. ;)

The concert was amazing. I am a bit biased of course, but I thought the performance was awesome, complete with pyros and fireworks and whatnot. :excited: Great atmosphere and band-fans interaction, too. (At some point, someone threw a tiger masscot at Marco and he caught it. Damn cute! :giggle: )

I think you realy should give the new album a try (what else did you expect me to say? :D). It is my favourite right now. If you miss the "old" Nightwish style, I think there is a bit of that there. Apart from the new singer of course. ;) Personally, I think she's doing great, even with the old songs like Ever Dream and Wishmaster, but I realise that for some people it might be hard to get used to a new voice.

I've been pondering for a *long* while to buy the new album, and I think eventually I will, because most people said they liked it a lot, so - I'll have to see for myself. :D

Oh, BTW - I have finally installed the OC Bishop romance mod... and spent the last evening going through all my old save games to test all the new flirt options. :giggle: My personal favourite must be 'Daydreaming about Bishop' - the lines are hilarious! :D
